Beacon Arts Building presents Community: The Artists of Beacon Arts Building & 1019 WEST. Community is a dense group show of paintings, drawings, sculpture, video and installation by over 30 artists with working studios at the Beacon Arts Building and 1019 WEST in Inglewood, CA. These artists have been accepted at Beacon Arts Building and 1019 WEST for their professional practice and value of contributing members to a self-supporting community. Artists who choose working situations within communities such as these understand the value of connections in the art world. Relationships are the key to success, and the mission of Beacon Arts Building and 1019 WEST are to foster relationships outside of the academic art world and provide a professional and inspirational work environment.
